A new, exciting interview with acting star Ryan Gosling offers a possible glimpse into the future of Marvel. The Canadian was asked by journalist Josh Horowitz about a rumor that has persisted for a long time and has been floating around the web. Accordingly, Gosling is to take on the character Nova in the MCU – in a film or series project that “Moon Knight” author Sabir Pirzada is currently working on.
Ryan Gosling has now denied this Marvel rumor – just to make a very special request. Gosling wants to play Ghost Rider, the famous Marvel character portrayed by Nicolas Cage in two films from 2007 and 2013.
Cage’s “Ghost Rider” wasn’t part of the MCU at the time, but things are different now.

Ryan Gosling is one of the most versatile actors currently active. The 41-year-old will appear alongside Margot Robbie as Ken in next year’s “Barbie” live-action film. Gosling has previously appeared in works as diverse as Blade Runner 2049, the musical La La Land and the stylish thriller Drive. He also played a motorcyclist in “The Place Beyond the Pines”.
That Ryan Gosling will actually become the “Ghost Rider” is not so unlikely. For example, two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali knocked on the door at Marvel Studios to play the daywalker “Blade” – a wish that ultimately came true.
