While waiting for a hypothetical Red Dead Redemption 3, a game from the Rockstar Games license is resurrected to offer gifts to players.
Everything was going well for Red Dead Redemption… until the release of the completely failed remake. Its price, considering the lack of improvements, sent the community into turmoil. And it got worse when Take-Two Interactive boss Strauss Zelnick felt people were getting what they paid for. Since then, the company has partially backpedaled since a 60fps update was released… except on older generation platforms. In parallel with this version, the R* teams are keeping one of the episodes of the franchise alive despite everything that has been said.
This buried Red Dead game offers a few jolts
Rockstar Games is under pressure to deliver GTA 6 on time, and meet or even exceed the wildest expectations of players. Moreover, to be sure that all the developers are moving in the same direction, the studio has put several projects on hold. Red Dead Online paid the price that it officially died on July 13, 2022. No more major updates are in the pipeline, but ultimately, R* is making minor additions at a regular pace. For April 2024, the multiplayer game is hosting events for Explore mode, quadruples XP gain throughout the month and triples RDO dollars collected, allows free travel and more.
Until April 29, 2024, you can quickly level up in Red Dead Online thanks to a boost in experience points in “telegram missions” and your RDO$. To do this, go to the post office or your camp to complete a quest in this category and pocket the loot. “Plus, complete any mission via Telegram A New Employer to earn the Tumbleweed North Treasure Map” (via Rockstar Games). And this also applies to the “Land of Opportunity” tasks where we must come to the aid of the widow Jessica LeClerk.
If you’re not satisfied, double gold and skill card XP await you in “Call to Arms”. Those who overcome the 10th wave will be able to equip themselves with a red and orange Ortega vest to resume their journey in the Wild West. It’s not sufficient ? Finally, Rockstar Games took the opportunity to improve Red Dead Online by ridding it of certain bugs and deactivating voice chat by default.
