Surprise return of Pink Floyd with a committed song in support of Ukraine


The group, which had not composed an original song since 1994, released the clip against a backdrop of images of the war in Ukraine, Hey, Hey, Rise-Up!with the voice of Ukrainian singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk.

Pink Floyd never officially separated, but it ceased to exist as an entity after a gigantic world tour in 1995. In 2005, the formation met one last time with Roger Waters, who had left the group with crash in the mid-1980s, as part of the Live 8 humanitarian concert organized by Bob Geldof. “The band is a wonderful part of my life. It was a 95% satisfactory adventure, full of fun and laughter. But we have to move on.” explained David Gilmour to us ten years later, during a French stage of his last solo tour to date.
