Surreal! The man she has been seeing for weeks leaves her for a pizza story

She couldn’t believe her eyes when she received a message on her phone the day after a date which she said had gone very well. A young woman who had been dating a man for several weeks had the unpleasant surprise of receiving a break up message early in the morning for a totally unexpected reason.

“I just want to put my cards on the table here, the anchovy thing made me sick”

The message was both incomprehensible and pithy for the young woman left: “Hi Ch, hope you had a good night? I can’t see it going any further. I just want to lay the cards on the table here. The anchovy thing really gave me this disease, haha. I hope we can still see each other as friends :)” She then turned to a forum to explain the situation and obtain any insights from other Internet users. “We’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks, very casually but everything seemed to be going well. He was talking about going somewhere soon and wanted to plan it with me just a few days ago.” she wrote amazed, before copying and pasting the message received from her ex-suitor.

Internet users were quick to reassure her, telling her that she had a narrow escape, since it was most certainly a false pretext and therefore of a not very courageous man. One person commented: “He looks like an idiot. And no – it’s not polite to throw someone out with a message after seeing them for a few weeks. You may have dodged a bullet there– because he is not a guy who speaks frankly” while another added “He said he didn’t see it going any further and added the line of anchovies as a joke (haha) to lighten the mood I guess. I’m not sure rushing him to find out why he doesn’t does not want to continue the relationship is a good idea, just accept that he’s decided you’re not for him.”
