Survey in Hallein – young people want more freedom and better public transport

A youth survey in the second largest city in the state comes to a partly unflattering result.

How do young people tick in Salzburg’s second largest city? They wanted to know exactly that in Hallein by means of a youth survey carried out by the “Akzente” association. 302 young people (average age 15.9 years) took part. The results: The young people give the public transport an average of 3.4 out of five points. And: Many young people would like to have more opportunities to linger in public places – without being forced to consume.
