If part of the public was focused on the PC Gaming Show 2023 Preview broadcast yesterday to catch news of several titles like Superfuse, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos or Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Traderearlier today, Paradox Interactive (Prison Architect, Cities Skylines, Victoria 3, Crusader Kings III…) also held a small stream on its side in order to present Surviving The Abyss.
Early Access launches January 17, 2023 on PC
Developed by Rocket Flair Studios (Dynasty of the Sands) and published by Paradox Arc (Stardeus, Across the Obelisk), it is a management/simulation/survival game inviting us to build and develop our own underwater base which is in fact a research center working on the improvement and militarization of human cloning.
Taking place on Earth in 1976, in other words in the middle of the Cold War, the title promises to integrate many features specific to this kind of experiments such as the management of the physical and mental health of our group of scientists, the improvement of infrastructures , the recovery of resources, the development of various and varied technologies as well as the decision-making in the face of random events that will try to complicate our task.
While waiting to learn more, note that Surviving The Abyss will be available in early access from January 17, 2023 on PC via Steam.
