There was an alarm about an attempted murder or stabbing on Saturday evening in Moosdorf in the Braunau district. According to initial reports, a woman was injured on the cheek with a knife by the suspect for reasons that are still unknown.
The victim is said to have suffered a deep cut. Several patrols raced to the scene, including the Rapid Intervention Group (SIG). The suspected stabber was still on site when the police arrived and was arrested by the officers. The victim was taken to hospital.
