A suspected sex offender has been up to mischief in Fieberbrunn in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel for the past few days. The African (22) is said to have sexually molested several girls and a woman. He even groped and kissed a girl. A witness then sounded the alarm – a short time later the handcuffs clicked.
According to the police, the incidents in Fieberbrunn happened in the middle of this week. The suspect from the East African country of Burundi is said to have sexually harassed several girls and a woman on Wednesday – in this case verbally. The girls then immediately cycled away on their bikes. The woman was able to prevent an attempt at grabbing. Some time later, the 22-year-old apparently also wanted to become violent. “He tried to touch another woman indecently. However, the victim was able to prevent that,” the investigators say. On Thursday, the alleged perpetrator finally struck again. “According to current knowledge, the 22-year-old is said to have touched and kissed an underage girl in the area of the Achenpromenade in Fieberbrunn immorally,” the investigators continued. The police were finally able to track down and arrest the obviously drunk man. Other victims are not excluded, they should report to the police station in Fieberbrunn (Tel.: 059 133/7202). After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the 22-year-old was admitted to the Innsbruck prison.
