Kevin Spacey had to go to a clinic during a visit to Uzbekistan. The actor feared he was suffering a heart attack.
Kevin Spacey (64) recently worried about his health. It has now emerged that the actor explained on Monday evening at the closing ceremony of the Tashkent International Film Festival that he had rushed to a hospital before his appearance on stage that same day. This is reported by “TMZ,” among others. Spacey reported that he had previously visited a museum in Samarkand when his entire left arm suddenly felt numb for about eight seconds.
“Made to think”
“I immediately told the people I was with what had just happened, and on their advice, we immediately went to the hospital,” Spacey explained according to “The Sun” further. He underwent a series of tests, including an MRI. “Everything turned out to be completely normal and I am of course grateful that it is nothing serious,” he added in his speech. “It really made me think about how fragile life is – for all of us.”
As “The Sun” further reports, Spacey had announced his “comeback” the day before at an event in the capital of Uzbekistan and emphasized that his “best roles still lie ahead of him”.
Exactly on his 64th birthday on July 26th, the jury at Southwark Crown Court in London acquitted the actor of all charges. He was accused of sexual assaults against four men. The acquittal in London followed an acquittal in the USA: Spacey was found not guilty by a New York jury in October 2022. His fellow actor Anthony Rapp (51) accused him of sexually harassing him when Rapp was just 14 years old. Since the first allegations were made in 2017, the fallen actor’s career has come to a standstill.
