Hildmann comments on allegations of moles
A former employee from the IT department of the Berlin attorney general is said to have passed on official secrets to the conspiracy theorist Attila Hildmann. In an interview, the 40-year-old commented on the reports and a possible trial against him in Germany.
The conspiracy theorist Attila Hildmann has commented on media research, according to which a former employee of the public prosecutor’s office is said to have passed on information about an arrest warrant against the 40-year-old. Hildmann told the research format STRG_F in an interview that he would not say anything about the allegations against the 32-year-old M. from Berlin. He will not put anyone in “any form of danger” with regard to statements that are a matter for the judiciary, said Hildmann.
The 40-year-old commented on the source of the allegations. These come from Hildmann’s former companion Kai Enderes, who said in an interview with the ARD magazine “Kontraste” and STRG_F that in addition to passing on data, the accused also visited Hildmann in Turkey at the beginning of the year and issued the arrest warrant for him passed on. Hildmann told STRG_F that Enderes was “a kind of right-wing neo-Nazi who was attracted to my work”. Enderes is now trying to “make a complete image change and present himself as a clean man”, but that is “nonsense”, Hildmann continues. According to STRG_F, Enderes denies being an anti-Semite or a Nazi.
In connection with the investigation against Hildmann, the Berlin public prosecutor suspects a former employee of having disclosed internal information. “Unfortunately we have to assume that there is a mole in our own ranks,” said authority spokesman Martin Steltner. The public prosecutor’s office is investigating the suspicion of a violation of official secrecy and the attempted thwarting of punishment.
A former employee of the attorney general is suspected. She is said to have passed on internal information about an arrest warrant to Hildmann. The woman was noticed at a demonstration against corona measures. There she became conspicuous and identified herself as an employee of the judiciary. The review of the information system had shown that data on people from the right-wing extremist and “lateral thinkers” scene had been requested. “We then terminated the person without notice in May,” said Steltner. The woman was searched in July. Data had been secured.
The Berlin public prosecutor’s office is investigating Hildmann for sedition, suspicion of public incitement to criminal offenses and resistance to law enforcement officers. An arrest warrant against Hildmann cannot be carried out because he is in Turkey. According to the current state of investigation, the public prosecutor does not assume that there is a connection between the “piercing” and Hildmann’s flight. “He left for Turkey at the end of December last year, and the events we are talking about took place in February of this year,” said Steltner.
Hildmann also emphasized to STRG_F that he had already been abroad at the time the data was allegedly passed on. In response to his hate speech statements, he said: “I stand by my statements, and they are also relevant under criminal law.” Furthermore, he assumed that there would be no fair trial in Germany. The Federal Republic is a “Jewish occupation” with a “Jewish judiciary”. That is why he can only return to Germany “when the FRG is gone”.
