Among the toxic substances was ricin, which is listed under “biological weapons” in the war weapons list of the Robert Koch Institute. The area around the apartment stormed by the police was cordoned off. In addition, a detoxification center has been set up, local media report.
It was initially unclear how far the attack plans had progressed and whether there was already a concrete target for the attack. The investigation was still ongoing in the morning.
