A fire that broke out on Monday August 29 on board a car ferry carrying 300 people was extinguished and the fire did not cause any casualties, according to the Swedish maritime authorities.
The “Stena Scandicawas providing a link between Latvia and Sweden in the Baltic Sea when the alarm was given around 12:30 p.m. local time (12:30 p.m.) of a fire on board, according to the company and the rescue services.
