Sweet & Easy – Enie bakes: Enie van de Meiklokjes looks back on nine seasons

Back fans can look forward to new episodes of "Sweet & Easy" from today. Enie von de Meiklokjes had the most baking fun with these celebrities.

Baking in summer? A must for Enie van de Meiklokjes (45) in every season. The television presenter is returning to the TV screens today with the ninth season of "Sweet & Easy – Enie backt". Most of all, the moderator tells in an interview with the news agency spot on news, 45-year-old enthuses about the show on Sixx "the baking itself and the beautiful, great and delicious results at the end."

From season one, van de Meiklokjes received active support from numerous celebrities in the program. "I remember so many of my great celebrities and non-celebrities. There was a lot of laughter in my 'Sweet & Easy' kitchen. I particularly like remembering chocolatier Sabine Dubenkropp from Berlin and her sensational recipe for chocolate tarts Apple jelly and chocolate mousse, and when my colleagues from 'Das Große Backen', Betty Schliephake-Burchardt and Christian Hümbs, stop by, it is always very tasty and fun, "the native of Potsdam looks back at the past seasons.

These celebrities bake in season nine

In the new season, van de Meiklokjes and the audience can still look forward to plenty of celebrities at the oven. "I was pleased that Jochen Schropp was there, for example. I laughed a lot again with Comedienne Meltem Kaptan. Annett Möller and Ben also had great recipes with them. All my celebrity colleagues were great guests," reports van de Meiklokjes from den Filming.

The motto of the new season "Sweet & Easy" is "Summer, sun, cake". For van de Meiklokjes, fruity tarts are a pleasure in summer, "with a scoop of ice cream". Her favorite berry trio: raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. "And if there is fruit on or in it, you could just say it's healthy," she adds with a smile.

"Baking is in our family"

Van de Meiklokjes is also a passionate baker away from the cameras. "Baking is in our family. I just like the smell of baking in the oven and the variety of options from flour, sugar, butter and eggs to conjure up something great and delicious." The TV presenter also has a tip for beginners: "Practice makes perfect! Don't give up if something goes wrong at the beginning and maybe don't start with the three-tier cake."

The opening episode of the ninth season "Sweet & Easy – Enie bakes" runs on July 25th at 3:25 pm on Sixx.
