ANALYSIS – The company has finalized the purchase of Bimpi. It intends to capitalize on the boom in employee benefits in companies.

A new French leader in employee benefits has just been created. Six months after publishing the banns, Swile, which specializes in restaurant vouchers and employee benefits (gift vouchers, mobility vouchers, etc.), is now officially married to Bimpli, the subsidiary of BPCE (Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Épargne ). This last platform brings together all the offers of the banking group in the field of gift vouchers, jackpots, good exit plans negotiated for the social and economic committees (CSE), universal employment-service check (Cesu).

Concretely, Swile, which was born in Montpellier in February 2018, now owns 100% of Bimpli. At the same time, BPCE became the largest shareholder in the new entity with 22% of the capital. The mutualist group also received “150 million euros in the form of convertible bonds”.
