- But many Swiss employees have concerns – and refuse to fly to Tel Aviv.
- Swiss is now putting its expansion plans on hold for the time being.
The Swiss media office confirmed a report from the CH Media title. Recently, an increasing number of crew members have deregistered from the flight service to Tel Aviv, she writes in a statement. So far, the gaps have been filled and all flights have been carried out as planned.
“However, we currently have to assume that the reintroduction of overnight stays at the planned time could lead to additional bottlenecks that our operational planning may no longer be able to fully manage,” Swiss continues.
The airline emphasizes that the reason for the postponement is not due to safety concerns. Swiss only operates the flights to Tel Aviv after carefully examining the situation on site. The safety of crews, ground crews and passengers is always the top priority.
