Ed Sheeran wins Best Solo Act International and Imagine Dragons wins Best Group International.
9:26 p.m. – Joya Marleen for the second time on “SRF 3 Best Talent” – and the 19-year-old has a bit of “chaos in the chopf”
Likeable, wonderfully direct, unaffected, slightly clumsy: the newly crowned “SRF 3 Best Talent” winner of the year, Joya Marleen, thanks her for the second concrete block and provides another refreshing highlight.

The Brandão Faber Hunger collective wins the trophy. A premiere for Brugger Dino Brandão, but not for Sophie Hunger and Faber, both of whom already have an “Artist Award” at home. And from home (probably from his music room) Dino Brandão thanks him with a greeting.
8:51 p.m. – Zian is the first “crushing newcomer” in history
Previously, the category was called “Best Breaking Act”, now it’s about “Best Crushing Newcomer”. The Basler Zian is the first to bear this title – and who can still hope for two more cobblestones. Among other things, for “Show You” in the category “Best Hit”. The voting is currently running during the TV show. His competitors are: Joya Marleen with “Nightmare” and Lo & Leduc with “Tribute”.
8:46 p.m. – Kunz delivers the album of the year
In his acceptance speech, the 36-year-old looks back on his time as an apprentice in construction: He already enjoyed concrete back then, and it’s even greater now with the concrete block! He has been nominated three times for an SMA in recent years, three times he went away empty-handed. So it worked out in 2022: Dialect singer Kunz wins the first concrete block in his career for his number 1 album “Mai”.
9:33 p.m. – Joya Marleen wins “Best Female” – and thanks without taking a breath
Newcomer Joya Marleen wins her first «Swiss Music Award». The woman from St. Gallen wins the award for “Best Female”. Joya, who has been nominated two more times, gives her acceptance speech in fast forward. Or: She now holds the record for the shortest acceptance speech with the most words.
