Switch: Nintendo sold 107.65 million consoles, and 12.64 million Pokémon Legends Arceus

After Sony this very morning, it’s now nintendo which releases its usual big end-of-quarter figures, with its results for the last quarter of fiscal year 2021/2022. And unlike the next-gen market, Nintendo can count itself lucky to suffer much less from the shortage of components, which allows it to sell Switch by whole pallets, as can be seen with these new figures.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Makes A Big Debut

During the last quarter, the Switch therefore sold 4.11 million more copies, which means that the console reached the figure of 107.65 million consoles sold since its launch.

A fairly impressive cruising speed which should logically allow it to exceed sales of the PS4 this fiscal year. These are then 23.06 million Switches sold in the last fiscal year.

In terms of game sales, note the excellent performance of Pokemon Legends Arceus and of its 12.64 million copies distributed in just a few weeks, which almost allows it to catch up with the 14.65 million Pokémon Sparkling Diamond / Pokémon Sparkling Pearl.
