Syberia: The World Before, the return of Kate Walker

Initially scheduled for the end of 2021 and finally postponed, Syberia: The World Before finally holds its release date. The Microids game, developed by Koalabs, will therefore be available on March 18, 2022 on PC.

The story of this point and click adventure game will have you alternate between two eras and continents. On the one hand, you will find Kate Walker, in 2004, shortly after the end of her adventure of Syberia 3. Surviving as best she can in the salt mine where she finds herself imprisoned, a new ordeal will push her to go on an adventure in search of her identity. On the other hand, you will follow the life of a young 17-year-old pianist named Dana Roze whose future finds itself threatened by the rise of fascism in Europe in 1937.

As in previous episodes, various puzzles and riddles will still be part of this fourth installment in the Syberia saga. The fantastic universe with the poetic notes of Benoît Sokal will be carried by the original symphonic soundtrack composed by Inon Zur.
