Anyone who maintains a high standard of living must also work for it. At least that is how Sylvie Meis (46) sees it, as she Interview with “Bild am Sonntag” revealed. Because of her demands, she is not yet financially secure after years in the TV business, as she suggests. “Of course, that also depends on the standard of living. Mine is high. I have earned a lot of money. But I need a certain level of security. I have to and want to keep working for that,” she explains to the paper.

But with her varied job as a presenter, advertising face, influencer and entrepreneur, this is not difficult for her. “I love my job, I have a lot of energy,” emphasizes Meis. She is living her dream: “I travel a lot, gain experience and adventure, and get to know exciting people at work.”

Meis gives everything for her customers

That’s why Sylvie Meis always wants to deliver the best version of herself – no matter what she’s feeling inside. “Only my family and closest friends know how I really feel. My advertising partners always deserve the best possible Sylvie. For me, that’s part of the business,” she explains.

Of course, she also has “moments when I’m sad when things aren’t going well in my private or professional life. Then I’d like to pull a blanket over my head.” But because she doesn’t want to “lose her dignity,” she doesn’t let it show.

Sylvie Meis started her television career in 2003 when she won a presenter casting in her native Netherlands. She then worked as a model and actress. In Germany, she became known to a larger audience in 2008 when she first sat on the jury of “Das Supertalent” alongside Dieter Bohlen (70). This was later followed by a stint as a “Let’s Dance” presenter, among other things. Her marriage to football player Rafael van der Vaart (41), which ended in divorce in 2013, also brought her a lot of attention.
