Sylvie Meis (44) is currently enjoying family time in Venice. The presenter, who accompanied her husband Niclas Castello (43) to one of his art exhibitions at the Biennale at the weekend, also spent Sunday with brother Daniel Meis (45), who also came for the occasion.

At Instagram the 44-year-old shared a snapshot with him again, on which the two are sitting in front of a café. “Sunday morning walk with my brother. Couldn’t be happier,” she wrote. Daniel Meis also shared the picture and published another photo of the trip together and his “beautiful” sister. He already had her for Sylvie Meis’ birthday on April 13 at Instagram complimented: “I couldn’t ask for a more wonderful sister and I love you very much,” he wrote for a photo together.

Special connection to Venice

Sylvie Meis has a special relationship with the Italian lagoon city of Venice. The presenter met her husband there. “I traveled to Venice as a single to Barbara Meier’s wedding. When I wanted to greet the groom, there was a very charming man standing next to him,” she says in an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”.

“We had a great conversation from the very first second. I had the feeling that exactly what you see in the movies happened. Hollywood films are kitschy, but with us it was one more floor. It was like in a fairy tale.” , adds her husband, who knew nothing of Meis’ fame when they first met. “I felt that he had no idea who I am, what I do for a living and what influence that has on my private life. I found that very sweet,” explains Meis.

On a first joint trip to Paris, there was the first kiss. The couple got married in Florence in September 2020.
