Her relatives will surely not hesitate to mark the occasion, as they do every year for the one who is at the head of a large family. Sylvie Vartan has two children, three grandchildren and even a great-grandson who fill her with happiness. The joys of motherhood, she obviously knew them when David Hallyday was born in 1966. Separated from Johnny after a tumultuous relationship in 1980, she then found love in the arms of Tony Scotti. Together, the singer and the producer adopted a little Darina, born in 1997. And the two children of Sylvie Vartan get along wonderfully. At Jordan de Luxe, the young woman assured that David Hallyday was “the most talented person” that she knows.
“I entrust everything to him, I love him very much. It’s like a second dad”she added before discussing their rather gloomy common passion: “We share the same passion for documentaries and on crimes. We love watching that!” As with her brother, the young woman gets along perfectly with her mother. “She’s the best mom in the world. She is benevolent, fair, kind, gentle and attentive. I don’t know two like her. I’m very lucky to have him”, she confided on Instagram, where she is used to answering questions from her subscribers. If Darina Scotti-Vartan is not yet a mother, David Hallyday offered three grandchildren to his mother. From his marriage to Estelle Lefébure were indeed born two daughters, first Ilona Smet, on May 17, 1995 then Emma Smet, born on September 13, 1997.
Sylvie Vartan: a fulfilled great-grandmother
After his divorce from Estelle Lefébure, David Hallyday married Alexandra Pastor, with whom he gave birth to a little boy, Cameron, in October 2004. And at 78, Sylvie Vartan is already a great-grandmother. since Ilona Smet became a mother for the first time this summer, of a little boy. “I came for this! I traveled all the way to meet him. I’m glad to have seen it, he makes his parents and his family happy. Let it continue! confided the singer in the columns of Paris Match. It’s a real happiness and to have a beautiful grandchild is wonderful, it’s very touching to see my granddaughter so happy.” But for Sylvie Vartan, seeing her son become a grandpa was complicated: “It’s weird. You’re like, ‘How?’ Because he’s my baby anyway and it will always be like that. When you’re a parent, the years don’t count”.
