BEIRUT (Reuters) – The anti-aircraft defenses of the international anti-jihadist coalition in Syria repelled six drone attacks on Saturday against the American base located in the Conoco gas field in the east of the country, we learned from security source.
The source did not tell Reuters if there were any casualties.
The international coalition against the Islamic State (IS) group, under American command, and its Kurdish allies in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been the target of repeated attacks by armed groups supported by Iran, in Syria and Iraq, since the start of the conflict between Israel and Hamas on October 7.
