Some games take longer to wait than others, this was the case for System Shockremake of FPS/RPG from 1994 by Nightdive Studios. After years of development, the title was released last year, but only on PC. Players on home consoles had to wait many more months before getting their hands on the game.
Today is the day when the System Shock remake is finally released on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Console players can also explore the Citadel Station in space, face the evil AI SHODAN and save Earth from destruction. An entire program ! The remake includes HD graphics, modernized controls, an improved user interface, as well as renewed sounds and music. Nightdive Studios reminds in passing thatworked with several members of Looking Glass Studiosbehind the original game, and even called on Terri Brosius, the voice of SHODAN since 1994.
