National soccer player Tabea Sellner has given birth to her first baby. You and the child should be fine.

This little man has certainly stormed straight into her heart. The German national soccer player Tabea Sellner (27) gave birth to her first child, a son. Your club, VfL Wolfsburg, confirmed the happy news on April 4th. The little one was born on Tuesday evening and both are said to be doing well: “Mother and child are doing well. The entire wolf pack warmly congratulates the young family and wishes them all the best!”

Tabea Sellner continued to train for many months

Sellner, whose contract runs until 2025, was still training with the other wolves until February. “It was cool for me that it worked. If you had told me that I wasn’t allowed to do anything in six months, that would have been stupid,” she said on the club’s website in February. She has been on maternity leave for several weeks now, but until then she had been training for two hours a day.

There should now be numerous congratulations not only from fans, but also from colleagues. They were also thrilled when Sellner told them about the pregnancy: “From the beginning, everyone was just really happy for us. […] I think it was also exciting for the others to see that the belly had gotten a little bigger again. It’s kind of something new for everyone.”

The 27-year-old striker and the club announced the happy news of her pregnancy last September. “Happy news: Tabea Sellner will be a mother in 2024. We are happy for you and your little family,” it was said at the time in a shared Instagram post the player and the club.
