The French men’s team qualified for the final of the World Table Tennis Championships, a first since 1997, thanks in particular to its young prodigy Félix Lebrun, by winning 3 to 1 in the half against Taiwan, Saturday in Busan.

Less than six months before the Paris Olympics, the Blues, made up of brothers Félix and Alexis Lebrun and Simon Gauzy, will try to do better than the team led 27 years ago by Jean-Philippe Gatien, in the final on Sunday against China, ten-time title holder.
