Turn an old tablet into an Android Automotive car system
For his car, Android Automotive can be a great asset in order to benefit from a complete display and an infotainment system. If your vehicle is not compatible with the Google system, it is however possible to install it on an old Android tablet. This is precisely the project of Mishaal Rahman, former editor of XDA Developers, now at Esper media. He was indeed able to transform a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e into an Android Automotive screen. The principle works well even if some bugs remain and the system is, logically, not connected to the car’s electronics.
Samsung Galaxy S23: the release date of the future flagships is becoming clearer
While the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Filp 4 are still brand new, new rumors about Samsung’s next high-end smartphones are starting to emerge. It is this time the Dutch site SamMobile which drew about the date of presentation of the next devices of the Korean manufacturer. According to its information, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra should be officially unveiled next February. A date that does not seem particularly absurd, since it is during this period that Samsung has already launched the S22 this year.
Tesla “Model 2”: a Tesla executive confirms his arrival in a half-word
It’s an open secret that Tesla is looking to capture the entry-level electric vehicle market. While several rumors already mentioned the existence of the project around a Tesla Model 2 more affordable than the Model Y, an executive from the manufacturer has half sold the wick. Asked by the Business Insider site about this model, Martin Viecha, head of investor relations, said that it was indeed in Tesla’s interest to offer an even more affordable electric vehicle.
