The call from a 17-year-old startled the police in Klagenfurt on Saturday night. A young lad had hit another and he was armed with a blank pistol.
The two boys (17 and 16) had apparently argued at a festival in the Klagenfurt district. Then the 16-year-old struck several times with his fist and fired his pistol into the air. His opponent reported this to the police. By the time they arrived, however, the young gun fan was already on his way to Klagenfurt in a taxi. A police officer: “The taxi could be stopped in the Lambichl area.” The 16-year-old was arrested there – along with his weapon. This was secured and a provisional weapon ban was imposed on the young Carinthian. He is shown.
