After Tales of the Jediseries of short films released in 2022 on Disney+, a new animated series Star Wars arrives on the streaming platform next May. Titled Tales of the Empireit is revealed today in an intriguing trailer.
Dive to the dark side
Consisting of six episodes, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire will allow fans of the galaxy far, far away to discover, as its name suggests, new stories told from the point of view of the Galactic Empire.
The show thus follows two warriors with distinct backgrounds, in different eras: Morgan Elsbeth (voiced in original version by Diana Lee Inosanto, seen in this role in the series The Mandalorian And Ahsoka) and the ex-Jedi Barriss Offee (character seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and here dubbed by Meredith Salenger).
As the trailer below indicates, Morgan will take the path of vengeance and appear alongside Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen, also seen in Ahsoka), while Barriss will do everything possible to survive… and cross paths with the Grand Inquisitor.
Other major figures of the Empire will appear in this new series, such as General Grievous and, of course, the famous Darth Vader.
