Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (6 episodes) – Recommended from 10 years old.

Synopsis: Anthology series on the Star Wars universe composed of animated shorts revealing the origins of emblematic Jedi knights like Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s padawan, and Count Dooku, the future Sith known as Dark tyranus.

What they will love:

  • An anthology format of short stories, ideal for discovering or exploring the Star Wars universe through the point of view of several iconic characters from the franchise.
  • If they’ve seen the movies: a host of iconic characters, from Qui-Gon Jinn and Anakin Skywalker, to Mace Windu and the sinister Darth Sidious, aka Emperor Palpatine!
  • Different planets explored, spaceships, lightsaber duels: no doubt, all the elements of a good Star Wars production are there!

What can cause problems:

  • A good knowledge of the Star Wars universe is necessary to fully understand the stakes of the series; at least to know who Ahsoka Tano is (and why she decided to leave the Jedi Order) and Count Dooku, who will become the Sith Dark Tyranus.
  • The darkness of certain episodes, and in particular the one featuring the fight to the death between Count Dooku and the Jedi Master Yaddle.
