Professional or amateur, it is often difficult for a photographer to part with his favorite lens during repair. To meet this need, Tamron is launching a new service to help photographers in distress.
A free loan during the repair
From April 1, 2023, the Tamron optician will be offering all its customers the benefit of its professional and free service. Concretely, when a photographer goes to a partner store to have his Tamron hybrid lens repaired, he can leave with another pebble during the intervention. This could well save the day before a shoot or a trip.
In addition, the Tamron Service is not limited to after-sales service and also offers to borrow a lens for the simple purpose of testing it. It’s ideal for discovering the manufacturer’s range or better understanding your needs before taking the plunge.
The list of available lenses, in Sony FE, Fujifilm X and Nikon Z mounts, on loan or as replacements, can be viewed on the Tamron website. We are still waiting for the manufacturer to communicate the list of partner brands that will have the appropriate optical equipment.
