A blow to an Islamist terrorist cell? Police officers from the GSG-9 move out in North Rhine-Westphalia and arrest several men who are said to have already scouted out possible attack targets in Germany.

The federal prosecutor’s office has uncovered a suspected Islamist terrorist cell in North Rhine-Westphalia and arrested seven suspects. Two others were arrested in the Netherlands. The men are accused of having founded a terrorist organization in Germany and having been active in it, according to the highest German prosecutor.

The men are said to have already scouted out attack targets in Germany and explored possible crime scenes.
