Tarn-et-Garonne: he kills his ex-girlfriend, the autopsy reveals acts of unparalleled atrocity

A dramatic new case of feminicide. In the Tarn-et-Garonne, the body of a 36-year-old woman, mother of five children, was discovered dead in his house in Lamothe-Capdeville. His 38-year-old ex-companion was quickly arrested and taken into custody. During his interrogation he ended up confessing to the murderexplaining that he acted following the couple’s recent split, which he said was “on a station wagon” for a few weeks. No reports of domestic violence had been made before.

Initially arrested on suspicion of murder on a spouse, the defendant was finally indicted for “murder preceded, accompanied or followed by acts of torture and barbarity in connection with facts of a sexual nature”.

“He just remembers having strangled her”

Indeed, the first results of the autopsy of the victim’s body revealed that the young woman died strangled and stabbed. “He just remembers choking her.”, said the prosecutor, quoted by BFMTV. But new elements have revealed that the man also practiced acts of torture and barbarity of a sexual nature to the victim. The prosecution, however, did not wish to go into details, “in order to preserve the children of the victim, the youngest of whom is only four years old”.

Present in the house during the murder of their motherthe couple’s children have been placed with relatives for the time being. A children’s judge will then have to decide on the measures to be taken for their future.
