Tarsier Studios: the creators of Little Nightmares tease their next game in a new universe with concept art

After two notable episodes of Little Nightmares, Tarsier Studios decided to move on, leaving the license to Bandai Namco Games. The Swedish studio now owned by Embrace Group is therefore working on a new project that is still very mysterious, which he had started to teaser with illustrations hidden behind its logo last year.

He did it again this week with A concept art unpublished and even more interesting. Accompanied by the mention “New world, emphasis on the new”it shows what seems to be one or more figures in a flame-lit boat. In total darkness, they navigate towards a barely visible horizon, whilea threatening shape rises in the sky. Is it a monstrous creature or an unexplored world? Will our hero be an explorer looking for something specific or just a lost soul looking for survival?

Still, the distressing atmosphere of Little Nightmares should still be around, which would delight the franchise’s many fans. We can now cross our fingers for an upcoming reveal of the project, why not sometime in 2023. Until then, Little Nightmares II is available from €24.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
