Tatort actor Uwe Bohm died suddenly

The adopted son of director Hark Bohm was only 60 years old.

The actor Uwe Bohm is dead. His wife Ninon Bohm announced the news on Instagram on Saturday. “It is with infinite sadness that we announce the passing of my husband, my son’s beloved father and the great actor Uwe Bohm,” she writes. He died suddenly and unexpectedly.

Bohm was born in Hamburg in 1962 as Uwe Grossmann and was later adopted by Hark Bohm. He made three well-known films with his father: “Nordsee ist Mordsee” (1976), “Moritz, meine Moritz” (1978) and the German-Turkish Romeo and Juliet drama «Yasemin» (1988), for the Uwe Bohm and film partner Ayse Romey were awarded the Bavarian Film Prize in 1988. He also took part in the 2016 film “Tschick”, directed by Fatih Akin.
