Traditionally, everything is different with the “Tatort” broadcast dates on Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This is the roadmap for the holidays.
It’s that time of year again, the holidays are just around the corner – and with them the traditionally changed broadcast dates for the Sunday crime thriller. The next two”Tatort” runs on a Tuesday and Monday. This is the specific timetable for the “Tatort” broadcast slot – 8:15 p.m., the first – on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Sunday, December 24th, Christmas Eve – no crime!
In the Christmas feature film “When the Fifth Little Light Burns” (2021), many people – played by Henning Baum, Lisa Bitter, Meike Droste, Max von Pufendorf, Elena Uhlig, Daniel Donskoy and more – are stuck at an airport. In family suites, emergency shelters and bed camps, things become less contemplative and more emotional and even dramatic.
Tuesday, December 26th, Boxing Day – “Tatort” day!
In the new “Crime Scene: Loss of Control”, the two detectives Anna Janneke (Margarita Broich) and Paul Brix (Wolfram Koch) have to solve the murder of the young Cara Mauersberger (Viktoria Schreiber), who only a few months ago moved from the small Saxon town of Döbeln to Frankfurt was drawn on the Main.
Sunday, December 31st, New Year’s Eve – no crime!
In “The Big New Year’s Eve Show” with Hans Sigl and Francine Jordi, the TV audience is served party hits, pop songs, evergreens, atmospheric ballads and rock classics. At midnight there will be a live broadcast to Berlin at the Brandenburg Gate for the big New Year’s Eve fireworks display.
Monday, January 1st, 2024, New Year’s Day – “Tatort” day!
With the new “Tatort: What Remains” actress Franziska Weisz gives her farewell performance as Inspector Julia Grosz in the Falke crime novels from northern Germany. Inspector Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring), who in this case has to delve deep into his own past, remains with the audience.
