These stars all play at his tribute concert

Who’s playing, who’s coming and how to see it: all the information about the big tribute concert for Taylor Hawkins at Wembley Stadium.
On March 25 of this year, Taylor Hawkins (1972-2022) was found dead in a hotel room in Colombia. In honor of the musician, his band Foo Fighters, his family and Paramount are hosting a “global music event” at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 3.
Alongside Hawkins’ band, the line-up for the ‘Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert’ includes a number of big names: Travis Barker (46), Liam Gallagher (49), Josh Homme (49) from Queens of the Stone Age, Kesha (35) , Brian May (75) from Queen, Krist Novoselic (57) from Nirvana, Nile Rodgers (69) from Chic and Lars Ulrich (58) from Metallica will be among others on the stage.
Special appearances were also announced by comedians and companions Dave Chappelle (49) and Chris Rock (57). Proceeds from the concert’s ticket and merchandise sales will go to the charities Music Support and MusiCares.

Wembley Stadium is the largest football stadium in Great Britain and has a capacity of around 90,000 spectators. But even those who are not there can listen to the Hawkins tribute concert. The entire show will be streamed live and on-demand across Paramount’s streaming and digital platforms. It can also be seen live on MTV from Saturday at 5:30 p.m. MTV will also air an hour-long special on Sunday, September 4th. This will be followed by a two-hour compilation of the concert, which will also be available worldwide in September.
It won’t stay with the concert at Wembley Stadium. The Foo Fighters had announced a similar tribute event in Los Angeles on September 27th. According to one Instagram posts from August 17th Pink (42), Miley Cyrus (29) and Alanis Morissette (48) also play there.
After the death of their bandmate, the Foo Fighters canceled all remaining tour dates via social media in March. The band also did not attend their planned appearance at this year’s Grammy Awards. Taylor Hawkins was found dead in a hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia on March 25. The musician was 50 years old.
