Football star Travis Kelce raves about Taylor Swift’s match visit – further fueling the romance rumors.
Love rumors have recently been circulating about football star Travis Kelce (33) and US superstar Taylor Swift (33) – and the sports professional has now heated them up with a few statements in his weekly podcast “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” continues.
Of the singer’s attendance at his game on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said it was an “exciting game.” He continued: “I enjoy life and I really enjoyed this weekend.” But that’s not all: “Kudos to Taylor for coming here. That was pretty awesome,” Travis gushed as he spoke to his brother and co-host, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, about how he felt knowing the singer was in his suite during the match.
Nothing but “great things” to say about Taylor Swift
And everyone else in his suite, including his mother Donna Kelce, was also thrilled. “I just loved how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her – the friends and the family. She looked amazing and everyone spoke great about her,” he said, adding sportingly that was the icing on the cake, of course was that “the day went perfectly for Chiefs fans,” meaning the 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears. He will definitely remember this game, “that’s for damn sure”.
And so it continued after the game
The Chiefs tight end also shared more about the events that took place after the game as he and Swift drove away from Arrowhead Stadium in his 1970 Chevelle 408 Stroker convertible. “And then we just ended up speeding away in the getaway car,” he said – seemingly a reference to a song from Swift’s 2017 album Reputation.
During the podcast episode, Travis also revealed that he’s getting used to the new attention, including the paparazzi outside his house: “I’m on the roller coaster, man. The roller coaster of life.” It was also clear to him that he had brought this public interest on himself. “I know I drew all this attention to myself. Right, I’m the one – I did the whole friendship bracelet thing and told everyone how bad it was for me that I couldn’t meet Taylor.”
When asked whether or not Swifties will be able to learn more about the singer and NFL player’s alleged romance from Travis in the future, he shared that it’s his personal life. He added that he would refocus on purely NFL-related content in future podcast episodes.
