“Fortnight” with Post Malone is the first new single

Taylor Swift’s new album arrives on April 19th. A few hours earlier she announced that the first single was “Fortnight” with Post Malone.
Taylor Swift (34) continues to heat up the anticipation for her new record “The Tortured Poets Department”. Just a few hours before the singer’s eleventh studio album is released on April 19th, she announces the first release. “The Tortured Poets Department’s first single is…………. ‘Fortnight’ featuring Post Malone”, writes Swift on Instagram.

In her post, Taylor Swift raves about working with Post Malone (28). She is a big fan of the singer and rapper because he is such a good writer and musically experimental. You just couldn’t get the melodies he created out of your head. “I got to see that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight,’” Swift enthuses. She can’t wait for her fans to hear the song.
Swift further writes that the song will be released “at midnight tonight” and that an accompanying music video will follow tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. ET (Eastern Time). In Germany, the song will apparently be released on Friday at 6:00 a.m. and the clip on Saturday night at 2:00 a.m.
In February, the singer posted the cover of on Instagram “The Tortured Poets Department” published and announced that the record will be released on April 19th. “Fortnight”, Taylor Swift’s song with Post Malone, is not only the first single release, but also the first song on the album.
