Taylor Swift: Pop Star Announces "Folklore" Concert Movie on Disney +

Pop star Taylor Swift has surprisingly announced a concert film on Disney + that can be seen from November 25th.

Pop star Taylor Swift (30) surprised her fans on July 24th with her eighth studio album "Folklore". A special album, because the singer had unexpected time freedoms due to the corona pandemic, which made this album possible in the first place. And the songwriting process was also unusual, after all, all songs were created exclusively in self-isolation and Swift and their producers were never together in the same room, exchanging ideas exclusively online. The special album is now getting an equally special concert film on Dinsney +, which can be seen from tomorrow (November 25th).

Swift first made the announcement during the morning show, Good Morning America. For the intimate concert, Swift and her two producers Aaron Dessner (44) and Jack Antonoff (36) played the entire "Folklore" album from front to back and talked to them about the songs. "It was an amazing experience to be able to trade deeply into the album with the people who made it," said Swift in a video message broadcast on Good Morning America.

Filmed in compliance with Corona

Swift later gave a sneak peek of the film on Instagram. A short clip shows the three musicians in a recording studio in the forest, how they perform the songs and talk. The whole thing was filmed in September with a robotic video camera in order to be able to film in accordance with Corona.
