The start of “The Eras Tour”: Superstar Taylor Swift was on stage in front of 80,000 enthusiastic fans in the US state of Arizona.

Superstar Taylor Swift (33) has not been on tour for five years due to the pandemic, although she released four albums during this period. Yesterday, Friday evening, Swift’s eagerly awaited “The Eras Tour” kicked off in the US city of Glendale, Arizona – and, as expected, the 33-year-old caused a storm of enthusiasm among her mostly female fans.

Start of “The Eras Tour”: 44 songs in just under four hours

“I can’t tell you how much I missed you,” Swift explained to the “BBC”. around 80,000 listeners at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, where the singer will be on stage again this Saturday evening. It started with “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” from the 2019 album “Lover”, followed by “Cruel Summer”. In the end, the singer was on stage for an impressive three hours and 44 minutes. She put on a show that of the British “Telegraph” as “extremely ambitious, spectacular and charming”.

Swift’s performance was divided into ten sections, one for each of her previously released studio albums, although not in chronological order. “The show is a massive production, with 16 dancers, multiple changes of scenery and costumes, and a long, lighted catwalk leading to a second stage,” describes the “BBC” the XXL production.

The US part of Swift’s “The Eras Tour” runs until August 9th. International dates are to follow, but have not yet been confirmed.
