US megastar starts European tour with new songs
Taylor Swift thrilled her fans in an orange bodysuit at the start of her tour in Paris.

Taylor Swift began her European tour in Paris with a spectacular show. At the start of the tour there are seven new songs.
“Are You Ready for it?”: US megastar Taylor Swift (34) heated up the French capital Paris with a performance lasting more than three hours on Thursday evening, May 9th. As the “Daily Mail” reported, the singer had seven new songs with her at the European start of her “Eras Tour”, which come from the artist’s recently released album, “The Tortured Poets Department”.

In a bright orange and pink jeweled bodysuit, the “Shake It Off” interpreter took the stage at Paris’ La Défense Arena in front of around 45,000 fans. The megastar brought with him hits from various “epochs” that are dedicated to each of her eleven studio albums, including “Love Story”, “Red”, “… Ready for it?” and “Wildest Dreams.”
With a revised setlist, the singer finally surprised her European “Swifties” with songs from her album “The Tortured Poets Department”, which was released two weeks ago, including the ballad “Down Bad” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”.
Appearances in Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg and Munich
The US megastar will stay in the French capital until Sunday, May 12th. Swift then travels to Sweden, Portugal, Spain and Great Britain, among others. The singer will only travel to Germany on July 17th for three concerts in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, followed by two concerts on July 23rd and 24th in Hamburg and two concerts on July 27th and 28th in the Munich Olympic Stadium.
The US pop star has been on the road with her “Eras Tour” since March 2023 and has so far performed in North and South America as well as Asia.
