TCL unveils part of its 2022 soundbar lineup, including the C935U

After LG and Samsung, it’s TCL’s turn to reveal some of its 2022 soundbars. The presentations begin with three models, including the C935U, descendant of the TCL TS9030 Ray-Danz with its side waveguides if individuals.

TCL has just announced the upcoming release of three new soundbars. Among them, the C935U succeeds the innovative TS9030 Ray-Danz using the same atypical design. It is in fact equipped with curved waveguides in charge of directing the surround effects to the sides and without having to resort to specific signal processing.

The C935U is a 5.1.2 channel soundbar that supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats. Like the S95QR, the new LG model, the C935U is equipped in its center with a speaker directed upwards, making it possible to give more breadth to the central channel of the bar. With its wireless subwoofer, TCL announces a total power of 660 W. The connection possibilities are multiple with two HDMI inputs, an HDMI 2.0 output, an optical S / PDIF input, a Bluetooth chip with multipoint connection, but not of wifi. The C935U is expected in August and no price has been announced yet.

The second soundbar announced by TCL is the P733W. Always accompanied by its subwoofer, this model is based on a 3.1-channel configuration and relies on the DTS Virtual:X surround virtualization system. The P733W has an automatic calibration feature to adapt the sound reproduction to the listening room, as well as a Bass Boost option. By way of connectivity, there is an HDMI ARC port, an optical S / PDIF input, a mini-jack input and a USB-A port. Multipoint Bluetooth is also present. The announced peak power is 350 W. The P733W should be released next July, but again, no price has been given.

Finally, TCL announced the release of the S552W, a 2.1 sound bar accompanied by a wireless subwoofer. With a size of 81 x 7 x 9.9 cm, TCL claims a maximum power of 200 W. The bar incorporates three listening modes Movies, Music and News which adapt according to the content viewed on the television. It is equipped with a Bluetooth chip, an HDMI port, an optical S/PDIF input and a mini-jack input. No release date or price has been announced.
