TCS Drive-In Movies: The drive-in cinema is coming back to Emmen

After last year’s success, the TCS Drive-In Movies is coming to Central Switzerland for the second time at the TCS Center Emmen-Lucerne. On nine evenings, everything from the charming comedy to the action blockbuster will be shown. The epic battle between the two eponymous giant monsters in “Godzilla vs. Kong” (Saturday, September 18), which draws a path of devastation across the globe.

The German comedy is perfect for a date “Nightlife” (September 12th), in which the two bartenders Milo and Renzo experience Berlin’s infamous nightlife in its most extreme form.

If you are into action, you should see the apocalyptic blockbuster “Greenland” Don’t miss (September 16) with Gerard Butler. To save himself from the impending comet impact, he and his film family maneuver their way from one precarious situation to the next.

Also the star-studded action thriller “The Gentleman” (Tuesday, September 14th) offers excitement at the highest level. The original story of a rich drug lord (Matthew McConaughey) who wants to get out of the business is spiced up in typical Guy Ritchie style (SNATCH) with brash dialogues.

Those who like to laugh heartily are with the undercover comedy «Operation Portugal» (September 17th) well served. Here Hakim, a district policeman of Moroccan origin, is supposed to pretend to be Portuguese as part of an investigation. Can he do it, especially since he’s already a catastrophe on missions ?!

For an authentic drive-in experience, it is worthwhile to allow enough time for the food stands with their typical American dishes before the film. Two hours before the film starts, they offer burgers and nachos as well as popcorn and ice cream. The drinks on offer range from soft drinks to various aperitifs and beers. Then you make yourself comfortable in the car seat and look forward to the movie experience.
