(CercleFinance.com) – Equinor and Technip have announced a strategic collaboration to develop SEMI substructures for floating steel wind turbines.
The idea of the two partners is to accelerate the technological development of floating offshore wind power, reduce costs and generate local value creation opportunities.
This collaboration is based on the common ambition of the two companies to lead the industrialization of floating offshore wind power. Equinor and Technip intend to leverage the integration and maximum utilization of manufacturing capabilities.
