While most of the actors from the Teen Wolf series have agreed to participate in the film which will continue the adventures of the werewolves of Beacon Hills, this was not the case for all. One of the missing actors, however, has just joined the cast.
That’s an announcement that should delight many fans of Teen Wolf! According to DeadlineTyler Hoechlin will finally resume the role of Derek Hale in the film currently being shot which will see the return of almost the entire cast of the show broadcast between 2011 and 2017 on MTV.
The actor, now a star of Superman & Lois, was one of the few alumni of the series not yet to have answered present for Teen Wolf: The Movie, which is scheduled to air later this year on Paramount +. But unlike Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski) and Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura), who both made it known that they would not return, Derek’s interpreter will ultimately be there, as an actor, but also a producer!
Tyler Hoechlin joins Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Khylin Rhambo, Ian Bohen, Seth Gilliam, Dylan Sprayberry (in pictures below above) and newbies Vince Mattis (as Derek’s son Eli) and Amy L. Workman (Hikari Zhang).
