The 14-year-old teenager who confessed to the murder of his girlfriend of the same age, found stabbed to death on Thursday near Mâcon, has not undergone “abolition of discernment” and will therefore be subject to a criminal sanction, announced Friday the floor. The wine-growing village of Clessé (Saône-et-Loire) remained in shock on Friday the day after the macabre discovery of the body of the teenager with numerous wounds and a knife still planted in her neck. Bouquets of flowers were visible along the small path behind the school, where the teenager lost her life. By late morning, faces were closed as they exited the victim’s former school. Autopsy still ‘in progress’
Thursday, Eric Jallet explained that the victim’s boyfriend, educated like her at the college of Lugny, a town near Clessé, had confessed to the murder of the teenager, perpetrated during a night meeting. “New hearings of the detainee took place, highlighting the young man’s desire to kill. He thought that his act could be facilitated by the fact that the victim loved him. He said he had trained in the handling of the knife. He described the blows with precision,” added the prosecutor on Friday, adding that the autopsy was still “in progress”.
Eric Jallet also specified that he was going to divest in favor of the criminal pole of the Chalon-sur-Saône prosecutor’s office “with a view to opening up information”. According to a judicial source, the teenager should be presented to an examining magistrate by the end of the day.
