If there was indeed a video game universe that we absolutely did not expect from the side of the Digital Showcase 2023 of THQ Nordicit is indeed that of Ninja Turtles. Comic book characters are everywhere these days, from animated film Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years has street fighter 6through the future Dimension Shellshock DLC of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and it is not about to stop. You may remember, last March, polygon reported the words of Doug Rosen working at Paramount Globalwho then announced thatan adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin stake AAA was in production at an unnamed studio, drawing inspiration from recent god of war. Well, it has just been unveiled, but we don’t know much more about it.
TMNT: The Last Ronin is therefore developed by Black Forest Gamesto whom we lately owe Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobedand will be released on an unknown date on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Even if the teaser doesn’t do much, it at least shows us a concept art of our character whose identity remains a mystery, ready to fight against the robots of the Soccer Clan.
Who is the Last Ronin? In a war-ravaged futuristic New York City, a lone surviving turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission to seek justice for the family he lost. From the creative minds behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado and the Escorza brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.
