Unveiled during Eddy Gordo’s presentation stream, a new Fight pass will arrive in Tekken 8. Available now in free and paid versions, this new pass allows players to unlock cosmetic content by gaining in-game experience.
If as always, players will be able to benefit from a free version, they will have to pay 600 Tekken coins to unlock the premium version. Which means having to buy the 1000 piece pack for €9.99. Note, however, that if the pass is fully completed, players will be able to recover the coins invested.
This new pass is added to the Season Pass already offered since the release of Tekken 8. The latter includes the arrival of four fighters including Eddy Gordo who arrives in the game on April 4. Bandai Namco is therefore increasing microtransactions for its title, especially since there is also an online store offering skins at a price of €4.99 each. A decision which could well backfire on the title, as players seem to want to move away from this economic model.
