Tekken 8: How to fix the error message “Error code: C-00001-00803-1”

Change DNS settings in Windows 10/11

This is how you change your DNS settings on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

If you are playing on Windows 11 or Windows 10, then you have to go to the settings of your PC. Navigate to the menu item “Network and Internet” and select the network you are using.

Revise DNS settings

Click on edit under “IP assignment” and select “manual”. Enable IPv4 and then enter the following under “Preferred DNS”: 1.1.1.1

Under “Alternative DNS” you can enter 1.0.0.1 and then save the entries. The problem should then be resolved and you can start Tekken 8 without an error message.
