Story with death, revenge and ongoing conflicts

Starting with Heihachi Mishima throwing his son Kazuya off a cliff because of his devil gene, through Kazuya’s revenge and the ongoing conflicts with his son Jin, the arc of the story stretches.

In Tekken 7, Kazuya threw Heihachi into the volcano and Tekken 8 now follows on from that. Kazuya seeks global control. Jin, who also has the devil gene, is the only hope of stopping him.

The “Story so Far” video is not only interesting for fans, but also addresses a problem: the accessibility of the series for newcomers. The summary of the backstory makes it easier for new players to get started in the complex Tekken universe.

You’ll find out how the story ends on January 26th, when the game is released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. We’ll tell you beforehand whether Bandai Namco has leaked this fighter.
